We are closing in on the end of October and getting ready for a busy November and December.
Please don't forget--this Friday, October 30th is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 11:25 and there will be no afternoon preschool. Lunches will be served. Our Spooky Ball is Friday night from 6:30-8:00. Tickets sold at the door-cash only please.
Offering lunch on early release days is a new requirement for us so I want to explain a bit more about how lunches will be served on early release days:
- Students will not go to the cafeteria for lunch like they do on a typical day. Instead, lunches will be delivered to classrooms at approximately 11:00 for those students who opt to receive a lunch.
- There will be one will lunch option and it will be brown bag style. So, for example, this week-students will be offered a sun butter and jelly sandwich with a bag of baby carrots, a small bag of chips and a juice box in a brown bag.
- Students may eat in the classroom before packing up, or they can take their lunch with them at dismissal.
