We hope you are enjoying this lomg holiday weekend! We also want to thank all families who braved the showers and came to the DiPietro Ice Cream Social last Friday night. As always, we so appreciate your support.
This week is a short week and we want to remind you that all students will be bringing home their beginning of year benchmark score reports in sealed envelopes this Friday, October 16th. Please check your students' take home folders.
As we move through October, we want to emphasize
the important role families play in students' academic success. This week we are including some
helpful tips to support families with reading at home. Please check out this link for students in prek-3.
Our
Fall Walk to School Event is happening this
Wednesday, October 14th. We will gather at the end of Fox Run Road at 8:00, take a quick group photo and begin our walk at
8:10. We will walk. whole way on the SNETT Trail. There is plenty of parking. Here is the
Walk To School Permission Form. You are welcome to bring this form with you if needed.
Our
DiPietro Fun Run is scheduled for this
Friday, October 16th. The weather is not looking great so we will send an email out on Thursday afternoon if we need to postpone. The makeup date for the DiPietro Fun Run is next Friday, October 24th. Here is the
schedule for the Fun Run.
We want to remind all families that Friday, October 30th is an early release day and school will be dismissed at 11:25. Lunch will be served and there will be no afternoon preschool.
In addition, the PTO sponsored Spooky Ball will be held Friday evening, October 30th from 6:30-8:00. Students are welcomed to wear costumes, but please-for safety reasons-no face masks, head covering, or handheld accessories. Tickets will be sold at the door and refreshments will be available in the cafeteria.
